CEFCU Management Training Program

Problem:

The management training program usually runs two years. However CEFCU has great retention and was not able to absorb there management trainees into the organization. So they remained in the management training program into its third year. The program coordinator was not sure what to do.

Thinking Skills Solution:

I asked the program coordinator to set up a working meeting that included two people from the program that had just completed it, tow that had completed it a while ago, two that were currently in the program, and two that were coming into this program.

In the four hour time that we had together we first Idea Stormed all possible topics for future classes that included past success and especially “it would be great if we could have” and more. Second, the then voted on their top choices. Third, in pair they selected the top 12 topics and flushed out possible content.

Result:

The program coordinator used there 12 topics and mixed them with 12 most have topics to create an extended 2 year program with great success
